FAQs

How do you travel by public transport?

The nearest train station is Horsham train station, with easy links from London Victoria, and easy changes from the South Coast via Three Bridges station. The station is a 40 minute walk from the site.

How do bands apply?

We will announce band applications at some point in September or October, so please wait until then for further info.

Accesibility?

The site is wheelchair accessible, with a tarmac path leading from the car park to the beginning on the campsite, and no steps to either the arena, the bar or the toilet/shower facilities. There are accessible toilets in the club house, and accessible toilets will be provided in the campsite.

Campervans and caravans?

Yes, campervans and caravans will be allowed in a limited area of the site. We will put tickets for campervans (and upgrades for those who already have tickets) soon.

Cooking on site?

No open fires are permitted on the site, including disposable BBQs, as we must not leave fire damage to the grass site.

Are dogs allowed?

Only service dogs will be permitted onto site.

How do I apply to be a vendor?

To be a vendor, email us to hammerdownfestival@gmail.com to describe what you do, and we will discuss the viability.

Toilets and showers?

On site are a large number of toilets, some open 24 hours, some open just while the clubhouse bar is open. There will be additional toilets placed in the campsite. There are several individual shower cubicles that will be open for certain times each day. There are also several blocks of communal mens and womens showers

Charging points?

The clubhouse has a number of wall sockets (30) that will mostly be available for public use during the full opening hours of the bar, excluding any additional activities we place into the building that may restrict access to them.

Lockers?

We do not have lockers on site.

Are kids allowed in the clubhouse?

Yes they are. Kids will have separate coloured wristbands, and the staff will be following Challenge 25 policies to make sure only those over 18 get served.

Applications for press/content creators?

Keep an eye open for those, which will likely open in the new year but may be sooner.

Is there seating?

The site has around 10 benches that will be scattered around the arena, and we will also permit camping chairs to be brought from the campsite for those looking to sit to watch the performances.

Is the ground prone to flooding?

No, the site has excellent drainage, and we are hopeful this will not be an issue.

Is there parking?

Yes, £10 on site, this can be purchased HERE through our ticket link.

When do we have access to the campsite?

You can access the campsite from midday Friday and need to be off site by midday Monday.

Do children need tickets?

Yes they do, our event is 5+. 5-15 year olds need children tickets. 16+ need adult tickets.
